Venerable Bilian from Jade Peace Temple Led Devotees on a Visit to Xiang Yun Temple, Fulfilling New Year Celebration

On February 23, 2025, Venerable Bilian from the Vietnamese Jade Peace Temple in Houston led 56 devotees on a visit to Xiang Yun Temple. This was the last Vietnamese group received during the Lunar New Year period, with a total of over 800 Vietnamese Buddhist followers visiting throughout the festival, all basking in the radiance of Buddhist teachings.

At 2:20 PM, Venerable Bilian arrived with the group, warmly welcomed by volunteers lined up in greeting. The Venerable led everyone in paying homage to the Three Jewels in the main hall, offering prayers and blessings. The hall resonated with solemn chanting, filling the atmosphere with Dharma joy. On behalf of Xiang Yun Temple, Venerable Ruyuan extended a heartfelt welcome and presented New Year Dharma gifts.

After paying homage, devotees lit peace incense, rang the happiness bell, wrote New Year blessings on the wishing tree, and enthusiastically participated in the “Turning of the Dharma Wheel” ritual, receiving auspicious New Year teachings. They deeply experienced the compassion and wisdom of Buddhism, feeling joy and gratitude in their hearts.

Finally, Venerable Ruyuan led the volunteers in singing The Light of the Buddha Shines Upon You, offering blessings to all. Filled with Dharma joy, the devotees embarked on their journey home, bringing light and hope into the New Year.
