【本報綜合外電報導】阿拉伯聯合大公國男童阿爾梅里（Saeed Rashed AlMheiri），出版書籍《大象薩依德和熊》（The Elephant Saeed and the Bear）時，年僅四歲又二百一十八天，創下年齡最小作家的金氏世界紀錄。據合眾國際社（ＵＰＩ）報導，金氏世界紀錄表示，當阿爾梅里的作品出版達到一千冊時，他的紀錄隨即獲得認證，《大象薩依德和熊》一書主要是在傳達善良和友誼的概念。阿爾梅里透露，自己的靈感來自姐姐阿爾扎比（AlDhabi），她保持著出版雙語書籍和雙語叢書最年輕女性的金氏世界紀錄（八歲又二百三十九天）。阿爾梅里指出，自己很喜歡和姐姐一起讀書、寫作、畫畫，受到姐姐的啟發讓他覺得自己也能創作。
