台61線苗栗縣通霄鎮新埔聯絡道與台灣海峽呈「T」字直角，因太陽南、北回歸線來回移動軌跡，夏至前後約1個月，有2次太陽會從聯絡道中央西沉落海，景致最美。在地攝影工作者張文煥推算，觀賞懸日及夕陽西沉最佳時段是18日至21日傍晚6時35分左右。圖為他昨日所攝。圖／張文煥提供
