白宮未置評 英媒：美將軍事融資援台

【本報綜合外電報導】英國《金融時報》2日報導，白宮將尋求國會同意透過「外國軍事融資」（Foreign Military Financing,FMF）系統，為台灣提供武器資金，以加快腳步向台灣供應武器。白宮國安會戰略溝通協調官柯比不願證實這項報導，他表示，基於《台灣關係法》承諾，美國支持台灣自衛立場，會探索適當方式進行。

《金融時報》日前引述2名知情人士指出，白宮管理及預算局預計向國會提出的烏克蘭補充預算請求，將包括對台加碼軍援，作為加速向台灣提供武器的部分努力。若獲得國會通過，台灣將首度透過美國納稅人資助的「外國軍事融資」獲得軍武。

報導指出，白宮擬於本月提交請求。
