北美、中東客超越疫前 每日10萬人 桃機暑假客運量飆升

【記者吳亭頤台北報導】疫後復甦力道強勁，暑假進出桃園機場旅客人數較預期大增21萬人次。機場公司昨日表示，暑假客運量逾671萬人次，超過原本預估650萬人次，其中8月份每天平均10.9萬人，北美及中東地區旅客更是超越疫情前（2019年）同期水平，全年樂觀上看3000萬人次。

一位香港旅客表示，從自助報到、自助行李託運、行李安檢確認完畢，只需短短幾分鐘即可完成，而且不用扛著行李到機場，就是市區預辦登機最方便的地方。

此外，應民眾雙十節連假返鄉及旅遊需求，交通部民用航空局針對目前需求較高之離島航線規畫第2波加班機，將於9月13日上午9時統一開放訂位，民航局提醒，各航線離峰日期及時段航班均尚有空位，建議旅客盡早訂位。
