國內：

˙新竹市長高虹安被控擔任立委期間詐領助理費案，十四日被台北地檢署依偽造文書、貪汙治罪條例之職務詐取財物罪嫌起訴。

˙行政院十七日通過「行人交通安全政策綱領」，提出《道路交通安全基本法》草案，目標二○三○年交通死亡人數下降百分之三十。

國外：

˙美國聯準會十六日公布七月底的聯邦公開市場委員會會議紀錄，決策官員擔心通膨可能無法回落，暗示除非情況發生變化，否則未來可能需要進一步升息。
