【本報台北訊】因應少子化趨勢引發勞動力短缺危機，蔡政府加速鬆綁產業移工留台規定。

當前蔡政府留用外籍人鎖定資深移工。勞動部近期加速鬆綁兩項「移工留才久用」規定。一是將製造業企業自辦訓練課程八十小時增列為技術資格之一，此舉等於是將技術門檻決定權下放給企業。

第二，勞動部將放寬雇主聘僱中階技術工作總人數的計算方式。原本規定，雇主聘僱外國人力即合計白領專技人員、中階技術人力及移工人數，不能超過聘僱總員工人數百分之五十；但，若是產業性質特殊且經勞動部跨部會同意的雇主或產業，可排除不計已聘僱的白領專技人員數，便可因此增加可僱用的中階人力人數。
