靠心室輔助器續命 等9個月成功換心

【記者陳玲芳台北報導】國人十大死因中，「心臟疾病」長年高居第二名，根據器官捐贈移植登錄中心統計，每年平均有兩百名患者等候「換心」。醫師指出，近五年平均每年心臟捐贈數僅約八十例，在捐贈器官「僧多粥少」下，「心室輔助器」成為心臟衰竭患者的治療選擇，可為病患及醫師爭取更多有效時間。

心臟衰竭有「心臟癌症」之稱，紐約心臟協會分級中第四級之「末期心臟衰竭」其一年內致死率高達七成，而「心臟移植手術」為末期心衰竭最有效治療方式。

三軍總醫院醫療團隊昨舉辦「經心室輔助器心臟移植病友會成立」見證記者會，分享多位心臟衰竭患者使用「心室輔助器」成功等待移植經驗，如患者李先生於二○二○年因急性心臟衰竭發作，急救後至三總裝置葉克膜、暫時性心室輔助器等待移植，九個月後成功接受心臟移植，現已出院。
