【走過從前】聽老樹說故事

周末參加社區大學走讀課程，來到台北市榕錦時光生活園區，鬧中取靜的一隅。日治時期這一帶因公部門宿舍興建，從田地逐漸轉變為日人聚集的住宅區，台北刑務所官舍亦坐落於此。戰後歷經遷移改建，部分圍牆被列為市定古蹟，區域內的老樹被保護下來。

照片裡的大樹其實有一半在建築屋內，慶幸在維修屋舍時沒有被移動或砍伐，方才形成這難得一見的「一半一半」。每當遊人路過，總不忘在記憶卡裡留下這珍貴的景致。

歷史總是存在身邊垂手可得的地方，只要用心，隨時隨地都能翻閱前塵往事。
