【本報綜合外電報導】原子能科學家24日將象徵性的「末日鐘」調到距午夜剩90秒，是史上最接近午夜的時刻，稱俄羅斯入侵烏克蘭加劇核戰、疾病和氣候波動的威脅，使人類面臨更大的滅亡風險。綜合路透和法新社報導，總部在芝加哥的非營利組織原子科學家公報（Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists）設立「末日鐘」（Doomsday Clock），顯示全球離世界末日有多近，2023年將「時間」調整至距離午夜只剩90秒，比過去3年快了10秒。根據原子科學家公報形容，末日鐘「象徵著人類有多接近自我毀滅」。新調撥的時間反映了俄羅斯入侵烏克蘭，重新燃起人們對核戰的恐懼。末日鐘當初推出時，被設定在距離午夜還有7分鐘位置。末日鐘距離毀滅最遠的時間點是在1991年冷戰結束後，當時距離午夜有17分鐘。原子科學家公報總裁兼執行長布朗生（Rachel Bronson）24日表示：「俄羅斯幾不加掩飾地威脅使用核武，提醒世界因意外、故意或誤判而導致衝突升級，是一種可怕的風險。」
