【本報綜合外電報導】巴基斯坦陷入嚴重經濟危機，盧比重貶、通膨飆升、能源短缺，在此同時國際貨幣基金官員到訪，就挹注大量現金協商。經濟學家警告，巴基斯坦恐步上斯里蘭卡破產的後塵。

巴基斯坦總理夏巴茲．夏立夫擔心在十月大選前引起民意反彈，數月來一直反對國際貨幣基金（ＩＭＦ）提出的加稅和削減補貼要求。但近幾天，眼看國家破產迫在眉睫，而且沒有友好國家願意紓困減輕痛苦，伊斯蘭馬巴德不得不開始向壓力低頭。
