駐加拿大大使曾厚仁（前排左3）及公使蔡幼文（前排左2）9日前帶領同事共7人，赴渥太華佛光山弔唁星雲大師，渥太華佛光山監寺知印法師引導眾人捻香。曾厚仁說，在網站上讀過星雲大師〈真誠的告白──我最後的囑咐〉，內文感人肺腑，未來很樂意參與佛光山道場活動。蔡幼文說，大師開創的佛光山，為台灣人民建設人間福地，也為世界各地帶來良善，成為安定社會的力量。文／人間社記者喜和
