【本報新北訊】新北水利局在三鶯水資中心打造綠地景觀公園，讓汙水設施地下化，增加地面九公頃綠地，成為生態、遊樂、運動的好去處；每天還可接收三峽、鶯歌及部分樹林地區近二點四萬戶生活汙水約二點八萬噸，有效降低大漢溪汙染。

水資中心過去被認為較難被居民接受，不過三鶯水資中心是全市首座結合綠地景觀公園、汙水處理設施地下化的水資中心，水利局認為可做日後規畫參考。水利局長宋德仁表示，三鶯水資源回收中心是一座銀級綠建築，園區內設有假日營業的自行車租借站，沿大漢溪自行車道可串連南北景點。
