【人間社記者如廉紐西蘭報導】「2023紐西蘭年度人物頒獎大典Kiwibank New Zealand of the Year Awards」於3月30日在紐西蘭Cordis Hotel隆重舉行，近800位各行各業精英人士共襄盛舉。紐西蘭總理Chris Hipkins親臨現場，為2023紐西蘭年度人物各獎項最優者頒獎。

紐西蘭佛光山住持滿信法師從數百位競選者當中，入選為2023紐西蘭百位本地英雄人物之一。第二輪再經過主辦單位嚴格的評選之後，最終晉級成為紐西蘭本地英雄人物前10名。

主辦單位表示，滿信法師是社會和諧的實踐者，將人間佛教體現於生活中。在過去30年，帶領佛光人團隊，以慈悲的態度和無私的方式傳遞真善美、淨化心靈、服務人群，長期為社區帶來貢獻和價值，如此之精神值得表彰。
