保生大帝誕辰祭典 信仰世代相傳

【記者羅智華嘉義報導】保生大帝在民間向來扮演醫神角色、信仰淵遠流長，昨日適逢保生大帝誕辰日，嘉義保安宮舉行誕辰祭典，由嘉義市長黃敏惠任主祭官，集結信眾虔誠力量，祈求保生大帝保佑國泰民安、風調雨順。

歷史悠久的保安宮是嘉義市北社尾一帶信仰中心、香火鼎盛。根據保安宮廟史記載，清康熙二十年、西元一六八一年，先民從大陸移居北社尾時，特別將祖上所供奉的保生大帝金身奉祀在家宅中，因神威顯赫，庇佑地方，參拜信眾愈來愈多，於是開始建祠供奉，並漸成為地方信仰中心。

該廟宇長年受風吹雨打，甚至還受到地震損害，面臨廢廟情況，直到戰後西元一九五○年，在信眾募資下才重建。一九九三年，信眾再次合力重建整修，三年後竣工並舉辦保生大帝入火安座儀式，讓信仰得以世代相傳。
