加國野火肆虐 亞省逾2萬人撤離

【本報綜合外電報導】加拿大亞伯達省（Alberta）省長史密斯（Danielle Smith）6日宣布，因出現規模「前所未見」的野火，當地數萬名居民被迫撤離家園。

路透報導，截至當地時間6日上午9時30分，共有2萬4511名居民被迫撤離家園。亞伯達省目前共有103處野火，覆蓋面積達到12萬1909公頃。

史密斯說，「亞伯達省的大部分地區都經歷了一個炎熱乾燥的春季，且因為有許多引火物，只需要一點火花就能點燃真正可怕的野火。這些情況造成本省現在面臨的前所未見狀況。」

自5日上午11時以來，已發生45起新火災。5日亞伯達省有5200名居民被下令疏散。史密斯說，「就我記憶所及，我從來沒在野火季節看過這麼多個社區同時疏散。」她表示已預留15億加幣（約新台幣343億元）作為緊急基金。
