每一步腳下都生了蓮花，象徵超塵脫俗、處於崇高的境地。後用來形容女子步履輕盈美妙。

《大方便佛報恩經》：「是南窟仙人生育一女，姿容端正，人相具足，世間難有。其女行時，隨其足下皆生蓮華。」
