慈濟大學合併案 教育部同意

【記者曾博群台北報導】同屬慈濟學校財團法人的慈濟大學與慈濟科技大學，討論合併20餘年終有結果，教育部21日正式發函同意兩校於113學年度正式合併為「慈濟大學」，成為台灣私立技專與普大合併的第2案。

按照慈濟學校法人規畫，位在花蓮市的慈濟大學與慈濟科大採「存續合併」方式合併，將分為中央校區（原慈濟大學校本部）、介仁校區（原慈濟大學人社校區）、建國校區（原慈濟科技大學校區）。

教育部表示，5月下旬開始，就對慈濟學校財團法人所送的計畫進行研析，並安排大學校院設立變更及停辦審議會於7月召開。教育部經審議後，21日正式函文核復慈濟學校法人，原則同意2校自113學年度起合併為「慈濟大學」。
