【本報綜合外電報導】20多個地中海、中東和非洲國家在義大利總理梅洛尼（Giorgia Meloni）領導下，23日達成協議，試圖減緩非法移民亂象，及解決一些迫使人們離開家園嘗試前往歐洲的壓力。

這個新聯盟舉行了1天會議，除承諾打擊人口走私，也將改善在許多領域方面的合作，例如發展可再生能源因應氣候變遷和改善貧窮國家前景等。

這些國家同意提供資金，以支持梅洛尼所說的「羅馬進程」（Rome Process）中的開發項目，此進程將持續數年之久。

梅洛尼樂見阿拉伯聯合大公國承諾提供1億美元，並表示接下來將籌辦捐助者會議。

梅洛尼軟化先前強硬措詞，表示義大利政府對接收更多透過合法管道的移民抱持開放態度，稱「歐洲和義大利需要移民」。
