台韓晶片輸中豁免期 傳美擬延長

【本報綜合外電報導】多位產業消息人士告訴《日經亞洲》 （Nikkei Asia），美國已決定延長為期一年的豁免期，允許南韓和台灣晶片廠商，繼續將先進半導體技術和相關設備引入中國大陸。

《日經亞洲》報導，此舉被視為可能破壞美國遏制中國在科技領域野心的努力，但也有望防止全球半導體供應鏈出現大範圍中斷。

美國商務部工業暨安全事務次長艾斯特維茲（Alan Estevez）在六月一次產業活動中，談到延長豁免期的可能性。延長期限尚未確定，但政府已提出一項無限期豁免的提案。

美國去年十月宣布一系列晶片出口管制措施，包括美國企業不得向中國出口先進晶片及相關製造設備，也禁止「美國人」在沒有許可證的情況下，幫助中國工廠開發或生產晶片。

美國計畫以相同的條件，延長目前將於今年十月到期的豁免。
