首透過外國軍事融資 美援台25.7億元軍備

【本報綜合外電報導】美國拜登政府8月29日通知國會，擬透過「外國軍事融資」（Foreign Military Financing, FMF）管道，援台8000萬美元（約新台幣25.7億元），美國國務院稱，這是史上首例。

據了解，這將是一批無償軍援，用來補充拜登政府7月底動用總統提撥授權（Presidential Drawdown Authority, PDA）提供給台灣的軍備所需。

國務院發言人表示，此做法符合《台灣關係法》和美國長期的「一個中國」政策，一中政策沒有改變，美國確保台灣獲得必要的防衛物資與服務，以確保台灣維持足夠的自我防衛能力。但國務院並未如過去軍售一樣，公布通知國會的文本內容。

美國政府擬軍援台灣8000萬美元，總統府、國防部、外交部昨天都表達感謝，但對軍援相關細節沒有評論。

在野黨立委認為，此舉代表台海軍事風險升高，因此美方才會主動提供；民進黨立委則表示，美方軍援，意味台美關係往前邁進一大步。
