【記者曾博群綜合外電報導】MLB美國職棒大聯盟1日決議，10月開打的季後賽及世界大賽，使用「壘上無人15秒，壘上有人20秒」投球時間規定，只要投手或打者超出規定時間，直接判罰一好球或一壞球。

大聯盟本季全面採用「投球時鐘」（Pitch Clock），過去7年，平均每9局比賽時間超過3小時，去年為3小時3分鐘，本季採用計時器後，大幅降為2小時39分鐘，是大聯盟自1985年以來最短平均比賽時間。除投球時鐘，投捕間開放使用「電子暗號發送器」（PitchCom），也是加快節奏的變革。捕手不必用手比暗號，是像打電玩透過按鍵按鈕，將暗號傳送到投手帽子裡的隱藏耳機播放語音。但球迷指出，不希望世界大賽打到關鍵第7戰，卻因投球時鐘違例影響結果。
