綠化城市 多倫多佛光人植樹135棵

【人間社記者李佳霖多倫多報導】國際佛光會多倫多協會密西沙加第一、第二、第三、第四分會，16日參與密西沙加市「百萬棵樹」計畫的實踐，於密西沙加市格蘭伊登公園（Glen Eden Park）植樹造林，40名佛光人成功種植135棵樹苗，為城市的綠化做出貢獻。

當天一早，佛光人攜家帶眷首先回到多倫多佛光山，由輔導法師如省法師帶領大眾做早課。法師叮嚀大家，淨化心靈與淨化環境同樣重要。監寺妙牧法師也開示提醒大家，最近發生許多自然災害，顯示保護自然環境的重要性。

隨後，佛光人前往格蘭伊登公園，經過3個小時的努力，佛光人種植了135棵樹，每個人都充滿了成就感。
