【本報綜合外電報導】挪威有戶人家日前用金屬探測器，在自家花園尋找遺失的金耳環，沒有找到耳環，卻偶然發現一千多年前的古文物。英國廣播公司（ＢＢＣ）報導，古文物在挪威東南部海岸附近約姆佛呂蘭小島（Jomfruland）上出土。阿斯維克（Aasvik）家族在家尋找遺失的金耳環，當他們打開金屬探測器搜尋時，卻在花園中央的大樹下挖出了一個碗狀帶釦，以及另一個似乎是屬於維京時代墓葬物品。從主管單位在臉書發布的照片可，可見兩件金屬文物表面都有著複雜精細的雕刻。報導指出，專家知道約姆佛呂蘭島曾經有過可以追溯至數百年前的定居點，但現有的證據只能延伸到中世紀早期，阿斯維克家族找到的文物則據信是島上第一個發現維京時代的物品。一位專家推斷，帶釦的歷史可追溯到西元七百八十至八百五十年間，兩件文物則是用在九世紀的女性葬禮。當地官員立刻將此事通報政府相關部門，西福爾與泰勒馬克郡文化遺產委員會（Cultural Heritage of Vestfold and Telemark County Council）在臉書貼文寫著：「我們祝賀在約姆佛呂蘭找到第一個維京時代古文化的家庭。」
