脊髓損傷 坐輪椅繪出彩色世界

【本報嘉義訊】七十三歲脊髓損傷者侯承平將半生奉獻給弱勢群族，退休後為打發時間學畫六年竟然開了畫展，友人形容他雖「不能腳踏實地，但雙手萬能」，坐在輪椅畫出彩色世界。

侯承平是脊髓損傷者，十九歲踏入社會工作才一個星期，就從高處摔落，半身不遂。

侯承平於一九九三年到台北接受脊損協會訓練如何協助脊椎損傷者，在朴子國小退休老師陳碧琴的協助下，一九九五年創立嘉義縣脊椎損傷者協會，幫助與他同樣遭遇的人。

六年前他覺得退休日子有些無聊，開始報名繪畫班打發時間。

二○一九年他參加嘉義市脊髓損傷者協會的髓馨油畫班，接受藝術家莊玉明、劉婷瑟等人指導，畫出了一片天。
