【本報綜合外電報導】美國司法部特別檢察官史密斯以企圖推翻二○二○年總統大選結果為由，起訴主張擁有總統豁免權的前總統川普。史密斯雖繞過聯邦上訴法院，向聯邦最高法院聲請速審，但二十二日遭最高法院駁回。《紐約時報》報導，川普律師持續尋求拖延他在全美涉及的刑事案件審理，最高法院此一裁定是川普在法律攻防一大實質勝利。最高法院大法官照例未說明駁回理由，也未附不同意見書。
