【本報綜合外電報導】日本《讀賣新聞》報導，日本政府為強化監視太空，正評估在2030年代要發射的自衛隊通訊衛星中增加監視功能，意圖對抗中國大陸與俄羅斯正推動可攻擊他國衛星的「衛星攻擊衛星（殺手衛星）」。

據報導，通訊衛星是日本自衛隊各部隊間，進行高度隱密通訊時所使用的衛星，通常在距地表約3萬6000公里的靜止軌道上運行。

在太空中，除了有以通訊衛星為目標的「殺手衛星」活動外，還會因為中俄的衛星破壞實驗等產生大量太空垃圾，為避免出現碰撞等事態，強化太空監視已成課題。

日方打算在通訊衛星上直接增加監視功能，自衛隊正在運作的兩座通訊衛星壽命，將在2030年度到2031年度屆齡，預計將在作為後繼的衛星上搭載監視感應器等設備。

由於中俄也會從地表使用電波干擾他國衛星運作，所以日本也在評估，除了在通訊衛星上加裝監視機器外，也要安裝防止電波干擾的裝置。
