老師問：「誰想要參加英語說故事比賽？」我自告奮勇，舉手說：「老師，我想參加。」

報名成功後，我跟英語老師討論比賽要說的故事，最後挑選了《勇敢吧！小企鵝》。練習過程中，我先背熟稿子，再加入生動有趣的表情與動作，天天勤奮練習，就連洗澡也會在浴室表演到忘我。

比賽當天，每個參賽者看起來都胸有成竹，讓我忍不住緊張起來。當主持人宣布「一號請上台」時，我緊張的情緒攀升到頂點，立刻起身衝出會場找媽媽。媽媽輕拍我的背，要我不要緊張，我的心情才平靜下來。在媽媽的鼓勵下，我拿出勇氣，再度踏進會場。

等了好久，終於輪到我上台了。在台上，我克服恐懼，盡情表演，最終贏得評審的肯定，奪得佳績。
