木工名校財務惡化 公東高工列專輔

【記者曾博群綜合報導】教育部昨日召開第十三次私校退場審議會，並在會中決議以「財務狀況顯著惡化」為由，將台東縣公東高工列為專案輔導學校，教育部將給予二年改善期，若逾期未改善將命停招，並於停招後一年停辦。

公東高工由瑞士神父創辦，以培訓木工國手聞名，是台灣少數享譽國際的技職學校，該校引進「師徒制」將原住民培訓成頂尖木工人才，是技職教育的指標學校。

全國私校工會理事長尤榮輝表示，該校目前有近五成原住民學生、二成多弱勢家庭學生，如今卻因財務惡化，嚴重影響校務正常營運。
