【夏日禮讚】寶塔龍船綻放祝福

夏日苦熱，出門散步，行走於林木夾道的植物園內，終能降溫2℃左右。但靠近陽光炙熱的中午，走在荷塘邊，竟看到耀眼燦目的寶塔龍船花又盛開了。

寶塔龍船花說是在划龍舟時盛開的花，所以稱為龍船花，一年當中看它開過好幾次花，夏天時更艷麗。而有寶塔之稱，是因它的花序，是一層一層疊上去的，像個寶塔一樣。

植物園是常綠草木、花草為多，寶塔龍船花，猶如萬綠叢中一點紅，令人也能精神大振一下（夏）呢！

寶塔龍船花（圖錐大青）

唇形科海州常山屬的直立葉常綠大灌木，頂生聚繖圓錐花序，寶塔狀，花冠紅色或橙色。

分布：福建，廣東，孟加拉國，柬埔寨，印度尼西亞，寮國，馬來西亞，緬甸，泰國，越南。台灣引進栽植。寶塔龍船花廣泛種植於世界各地的熱帶花園。（出處：台北植物園）
