台灣紅火蟻偵測犬 出差日本

【本報綜合外電報導】日本昨公開偵測紅火蟻的實證實驗，可以看到2隻來自台灣的紅火蟻偵測犬，從10個罐子正確找出裝有紅火蟻屍體的2個罐子。日方藉這項實驗判斷是否引進偵測犬。

日本2017年首度在境內發現毒性強的紅火蟻，於今年4月將紅火蟻指定為必須緊急因應的特定外來種生物。

日本放送協會（NHK）報導，做為在邊境預防紅火蟻入侵日本的管控對策，日本政府環境省昨在茨城縣筑波市國立環境研究所向媒體公開，10月8日起利用偵測犬找出紅火蟻的實證實驗。

日方想藉此了解偵測犬在與台灣氣溫及溼度等不同氣候的日本，能否正確地發現紅火蟻，偵測犬在日本能否保持跟在台灣相同的積極性等，做為最後是否引進偵測犬的判斷標準。實驗將持續到10月24日。
