粉苞素馨一展潔顏

秋深卻又帶暖的好天氣，台北植物園荷塘旁的「粉苞素馨」盛開了，讓已是枯荷滿池的隔鄰音符長廊，還能有亮麗的花朵可欣賞。

「粉」和「白」通常用來形容嬰兒皮膚的美好，粉苞素馨就是花苞粉紅色，花朵則是白色，但她可不像金花石蒜，見葉就不見花，見花就是葉落；而是經常枝葉旺盛，花朵也繁茂相雜，有著的滿滿萌芽力的灌叢類植物，故常作為圍籬使用。

是茉莉家族之一的粉苞素馨，也是我開始學習認識植物的緣分之一，她和矮仙丹一樣，都是我探頭探腦在觀察這是什麼植物時，有旁邊的熱心綠手指階級的民眾，主動而熱心告訴我的。

後來，植物園立了牌示：「黃金海岸素馨（Gold Coast Jasmine）」，原產地是非洲西岸地區的黃金海岸之故。

的確，有教育功能的植物園，應該多有指示牌，教導民眾認識植物才是。

粉白亮麗的粉苞素馨盛開，為綠色植籬較多的音符長廊，增添了繽紛色彩。
