【本報台北訊】中央研究院院士王汎森，榮獲德國宏博基金會二○二三年宏博研究獎 （Humboldt Research Award），是台灣人文領域首位獲此殊榮的學者，明年六月由德國總統親自頒獎，並可獲六萬歐元（約新台幣兩百萬元）獎金。中研院表示，宏博研究獎是德國頒授給境外國際學者最高榮譽之一，旨在推崇獲獎者的終身學術成就，表彰在學術研究提出重要基礎發現、新理論，或在所屬學門已具有長遠影響，未來可能繼續發展卓越研究成果的學者。一九七二年首次頒獎迄今，獲獎者多為自然科學及社會科學領域學者，人文學領域得獎者相當罕見。
