美暫停對歐盟鋼鋁加稅 再延兩年

【本報綜合外電報導】美國總統拜登28日宣布，前總統川普時代對歐洲聯盟（EU）鋼鋁加徵關稅措施將持續暫停實施，期限延長兩年，雙方談判還在進行。

法新社報導，美國和歐盟距離解決長達數年的金屬貿易爭端還有很長的路要走。拜登表示，他將兩年前所實施的暫停關稅措施延長至2025年12月31日。

拜登在聲明中解釋：「我已確定從歐盟進口特定數量的合格鋼鐵製品，將不再威脅損及國家安全。」

2018年時任總統川普對來自許多國家的鋼鐵和鋁材課徵高額關稅，以保護美國製造商免受廉價中國進口產品的影響。但相關規定牽涉甚廣，也影響歐盟出口，引發歐盟對親近盟友美國祭出報復性制裁。

拜登2021年上任後，維持這項關稅不變，但允許暫停對歐盟出口商加徵關稅，暫停措施原定2023年底到期，如今拜登決定再予延長兩年。

美國貿易代表戴琪（Katherine Tai）在聲明中說，暫停措施「讓雙方有空間持續磋商，以安排具有前瞻性的高標準措施」。
