【本報綜合外電報導】金氏世界紀錄近日發布，現居德國的九十二歲老翁柏迪歐（Alfredo Aliaga Burdio），去年十月徒步穿越美國大峽谷北緣至南緣，締造年齡最長者的新紀錄。

據《今日美國報》報導，柏迪歐表示，他曾多次在大峽谷健行，因此決定嘗試創造紀錄，去年一月，他開始進行訓練，每天健行八英里。當真正開始挑戰時，柏迪歐承認走了五小時後，他非常疲憊，幸運的是，休息十五分鐘補充能量後，他又能重獲體力。

根據資料，柏迪歐從大峽谷北緣步道入口徒步至幻影牧場度假小屋，用了十一小時十五分；第二天從那裡健行至南緣步道入口，又用了十小時，總共走二十一個多小時。
