交叉配種 阿里山山葵成功復育

【本報嘉義訊】阿里山山葵早期種植海拔2000公尺高山上，因占用國有林地且影響水土保持，被禁種後逐漸消失，有葵農引進日本品種交叉配種，縣府輔導興建溫室種植4萬株山葵，讓阿里山山葵重出江湖。

農業處表示，去年發起阿里山部落山葵產業栽種聚落亮點發展計畫，將費時四年復育阿里山山葵，興建兩座山葵智能設施溫室、一座山葵簡易強固型溫室，也辦理教育訓練及生產履歷標章課程，成立有限責任嘉義縣阿里山原住民山葵生產合作社。

山葵生產合作社理事主席安淑美表示，山葵種植2年才能收成，除研磨生吃外，加工品一樣能帶來經濟產值，葉梗可製成貼布、能量飲，新鮮鬚根、梗也能入菜做湯，目前正嘗試做山葵冰淇淋。
