【本報綜合外電報導】麥當勞執行長坎普斯基（Chris Kempczinski）向員工警告，預計將會在大規模改組中裁員。

坎普斯基在給員工的信中說：「目前存在的一些工作崗位可能會被取消。我們將評估員工在組織中的水平和作用，接下來將是艱難的討論和決定。個別項目將被排除在優先事項之外，或者完全停止。」

坎普斯基指出，公司需要表現出更高的工作效率和速度，同時降低成本，釋放資源並投資於發展。

據報導，麥當勞計畫在四月三日之前公布員工計畫，目前公司旗下商業機構和餐廳員工估計達二十萬人。麥當勞在全球的加盟店約有二百多萬名員工，其中百分之七十五位在美國境外。

目前尚未有裁員人數或哪些項目可能受到影響的相關消息，但坎普斯基接受華爾街日報採訪時表示，對裁員人數沒有固定目標。
